Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.

Essential Functions ?

Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.

Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.

Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.

Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.

Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

X Basic Life Support (BLS) A Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) A Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) A Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) A Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Certifications may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Licenses: Current and active Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Tennessee is required.
