Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students requiring speech and language services.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain a reasonable caseload and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Current NM state license and NMPED certification (or in pending status).
- CCC-SLP or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation.
