Speech & Language Pathologist Acute (SLP)
StartDate: 6/9/2025 Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1932.04 $2117.02
Required Qualifications
***MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TO SUBMIT **
1. EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
"\u0009Graduate of accredited Speech/Language Pathology program (Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred)
"\u0009Current Hawaii licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required to be considered (willing to apply or pending applicants will be declined until licensed)
"\u0009Current American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA) certification
"\u0009Current BLS/HCP certification. Must be valid for duration of contract
"\u0009Completion of a FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow) course. Provide evidence of completion with profile submission
"\u0009All certifications and licensure must be valid through duration of assignment
2. Professional Experience:
"\u0009One (1) or more years experience as a SLP in an acute care setting prior to any travel assignments
"\u0009This does not include student clinical experience or practicum
"\u0009Preferred experience:
o\u0009Prior FEES clinical experience and MBS ImP
o\u0009Experience with adult swallowing, communication, and cognitive evaluation and treatment.
3. Other requirements:
"\u0009Complete compliance must be completed and uploaded to Medefis VMS portal 10 or more days prior to start of assignment
"\u0009No RTO granted during initial assignment
