Patient Care Coordinator/Hearing Care Technician - Mattoon, IL
Hourly Rate is $18.00/hr.
We are looking for a driven and organized individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator/Hearing Care Technician . This role offers an exciting opportunity to support both patient care and administrative functions, with a clear path to becoming a licensed Hearing Care Technician. Candidates must have completed two years of verifiable college education, and we will provide support in obtaining the 4 International Hearing Society (IHS) credits required for licensing.
Initially, youll manage front office responsibilities and coordinate patient care, with the potential to grow into a clinical role. Our team offers full training and mentorship to help you gain the necessary skills and credits for a trainee license and eventually a Hearing Care Technician license.

Responsibilities in the Patient Care Coordinator role
* Welcome and assist patients with scheduling, intake, and follow-up communications.
*Manage patient records, office inventory, and appointment scheduling.
*Assist the Hearing Care Professional with patient interactions and daily office operations.
*Conduct outreach to current, past, and potential patients to build and maintain relationships.
*Handle insurance verifications, process payments, and assist with financing options.
As you progress toward becoming a Hearing Care Technician
*Conduct routine hearing screenings and assist with ear impressions.
*Fit, adjust, and repair hearing aids under the guidance of a licensed HCP.
*Educate patients on hearing aid use and maintenance.
*Provide post-fitting orientations, warranty checks, and troubleshoot hearing aid issues.
Qualifications (required)
Two years of college education
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Qualifications (preferred)
Experience in customer service, sales, or office administration
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare, with a commitment to obtaining licensing.
