Respiratory Therapist, Grad-Adult

Overview

The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements and evaluates effectiveness of therapy with communication to physician and health care team.

Licensure

NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Certified Respiratory Therapist Required - Within 6 Months of Completion of Respiratory Therapy Program Registered Respiratory Therapist Required - Within 12 Months of Completion of Respiratory Therapy Program
Education

Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy Required
Experience

1 Year Clinical - Respiratory Therapy Preferred
