Areas of coverage Pasadena, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Tujunga, Sunland, Burbank, Sun Valley, North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Van Nuys, North Hills, Pacoima, Sylmar, Northridge, Reseda, Woodland Hills, Chatsworth, and West Hills and LA north of Freeway 10 from Downtown to La Cienega including West Hollywood.
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical injuries or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
Instruct patients in exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
Monitor and record patients progress and responses to treatments.
Document patient care, observations, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and families on continued care, home exercises, and injury prevention.
Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean and safe condition.
Comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations and policies.
Help patients use therapeutic equipment and ensure proper safety techniques.
Qualifications:
Current California PTA license
CPR and First Aid certification, HPSO liability insurance, physical and TB test.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
