Job Title: Physical Therapist - PRN
Job Description:
Physical Therapists (PTs) play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, improve mobility, and regain functional abilities. Their duties can vary depending on the hospital department, but generally, they include:
- The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the evaluation and/or implementation of a treatment program for all referred patients.
- The PT contributes to the development and the upgrading of treatment programs and protocols.
- The PT also contributes to the development and achievement of departmental goals, objectives, and performance improvement indicators.
- Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals.
- The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
- The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree for Physical Therapy from an accredited institution by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- New graduates accepted but experience is preferred
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky and Certified.
- BLS Certification Required
