Overview:
A Per-Diem Physical Therapy Assistant , (PTA), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Gorham, ME.
Gorham House is a large, dually certified 200+ bed rehab facility that works with our geriatric population across the continuum from ILF- LTC. Gorham House has an intergraded preschool on-site where the children and gran-friends intermingle on a daily basis. We have a great rehab team of physical, occupational and speech therapists that work well together. Therapists will perform evaluations, treatments, patient & family education, and caregiver training while working with a diverse multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for someone who is upbeat and able to work in a fast paced environment. Scheduling is flexible.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
- Possess a current Physical Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
- Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
- Work well with others in a team setting
- Be flexible with hours.
