Sunbelt is currently hiring for a school-based Physical Therapist (PT) position in California ! Be a part of a collaborative educational team, making a direct impact on students' mobility, independence, and overall well-being in the school environment.
Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Fortuna, CA (specific district details shared during interview)
Employment Type: Full-time / School Year Contract
Start Date: Summer and Fall of 2025
Provide direct physical therapy services to K12 students
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate on and implement goals within students IEPs
Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Active California PT license
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
