General Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant Program at the Norfolk campus is seeking a qualified
Adjunct Instructor to teach in the accredited PTA program. This position involves daytime face-to-face instruction in PTA coursework with some flexibility in scheduling.
Qualifications: Education
Associate's degree in PTA or minimum of Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy; must
have an active unencumbered PT or PTA license/certificate in Nebraska.
Qualification:Experience
Minimum of 3 years patient care experience in Physical Therapy and recent experience
specific to the assigned teaching content required. Prior teaching experience, or clinical instructor
experience, preferred.
Qualification:Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed. Responsibilities include:
delivering engaging and effective instruction in PTA courses, adhering to program
curriculum and accreditation standards, assessing student performance and providing
timely feedback, and collaborating with PTA faculty and staff to enhance student
success.
