We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Physical TherapyAssistant (PTA) to join our practice full time in Odenton MD. Theincoming Physical Therapy Assistant must have a good base knowledgeof orthopedic treatments, and a passion for manual therapy andquality patient care. Both experienced professionals and newgraduates are encouraged to apply! Duties: --- Promote and maintain health by providing physical therapyservices under the supervision of a physical therapist. --- Contribute to a physical therapist's effectiveness byidentifying patient care issues. --- Administer treatment programs for patients. --- Document patient care services by charting in patientrecords. --- Evaluate abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist'spatient evaluations and test results. --- Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manualexercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients inperforming physical activities, such as non-manual exercises,ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities. --- Help patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches,canes, and prostheses. --- Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeuticregimens and promoting wellness. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy AssistantProgram Physical Therapy Assistant license in MD Both experienced professionals and new graduates are encouragedto apply Schedule: Full time (Mon-Friday) Salary (range): $60k+ to start (Depending on Experience) Benefits: PTO/Vacation (4 weeks) Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription plans Disability Insurance, Life Insurance Retirement Contribution with company match CEU reimbursement Mentorship and personal development Both experiencedprofessionals and new graduates are encouraged to apply!
