Speech Language Pathologist - Part Time

An inpatient child and adolescent mental health facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. About the Opportunity On Site, Hybrid, Remote: on site Shift: Day Shift Schedule: Part time - 20 hours per week Setting: Inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Responsibilities: Perform professional speech-language pathology services Provide Speech language evaluation for each individual; assess, diagnose, treat and work to prevent communication and swallowing disorders. Provide speech screening to all patients, and continue to screen new admissions Provide speech therapy as described in individual IEP's. Provide speech therapy to patients identified as needing speech services Provide speech/communication groups with clinically identified patients Document services with progress notes. Attend treatment review meetings for patients receiving services Requirements: Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license Experience providing speech language pathology service to children and/or adolescents Preferred Previous experience working with the mental health population
