EXTRA-COMPENSATORY POSITION

ESY SUMMER PROGRAM 2025

POSITION:

• Speech & Language Pathologist - 1 FTE

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ASD universal supports and best practices

• Experienced in behavior intervention strategies and crisis management

• Solid background working with students with ASD

• Able to be part of a multidisciplinary team

• Appropriate Professional Credentials

• Prefer excellent attendance and punctuality

DUTIES:

• Teacher: Direct a summer program for students with autism and continue the methods established in the regular school year.

• Ancillary Staff must give support to teachers in implementing PBIS plans and responding to the needs of ASD students.

• Work on goal areas of concern

• Other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBLE TO:

Executive Director of Special Education & Special Education Supervisor

WORK SCHEDULE:

July 8, 2025 August 7, 2025

• Teaching Staff Hours 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Noon

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

• One full day to prep prior to the start of ESY on July 7 from 8 - 12

MUST COMMIT TO COMPLETE BLOCK AS POSTED

SALARY:

According to LPEA, Schedule B Hourly Contract Rate ($39.91 per hour)
