Physical Therapist- Full Time- Day shift- Southfield

Department: Physical Therapy

$5000 Sign on bonus, based on eligibility

CONTINGENT - Day shift 9:00am - 5:300 pm with rotating weekends & major holidays

Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.

Responsibilities:

• Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

• BLS Provider through the American Heart Association required

• Flexibility to float to inpatient rehab to provide coverage during staff absences.

• Participate in a rotating late shift schedule to support POD #0 orthopedic and spine care.

• Previous experience in acute care or inpatient rehab is a plus.
