Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Previous work experience in Alaska preferred
- Active state and educational (Type C) SLP license
Location:
- Ketchikan, AK
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 50-60 K-3 or K-6 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
