Recreation Aide

Hudson Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is now hiring vivacious, energized, engaged, resident focused Recreation Aides who are committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. The primary purpose of this job position is to assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.Key Responsibilities:*Assist in planning and facilitating recreational activities for residents.*Lead group and individual activities that promote socialization and engagement.*Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.*Provide one-on-one assistance to residents as needed.*Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.*Collaborate with staff to tailor activities to meet individual needs.Qualifications:*High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a healthcare or recreation setting preferred.*Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.*Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.*Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.: If you are looking forward to becoming a part of a dynamic team, we would love to meet you!We are located at 65 Ashburton Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701.ACTIVITIES AIDE COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS:.
