Your Role: As an RT (Respiratory Therapist) at Scarlet Oaks, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, performing essential duties such as: + Setting up and operating mechanical ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, and aerosol generators. + Ensuring treatment parameters like volume, gas concentration, humidity, and temperature are met. + Administering medicinal gases and aerosol drugs under physician orders. + Monitoring patient vital signs and physiological responses to therapy. + Assisting patients with breathing exercises and adjusting equipment for optimal results. + Maintaining detailed patient charts and ensuring equipment safety and efficiency. + Demonstrating respiratory care procedures to trainees and other healthcare personnel.
