Occupational Therapist Outpatient

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The outpatient therapy department operates thirteenclinic locations serving all of Waukesha County. These thirteenlocations combine to complete over 13,000 outpatient visits monthly.Clinical staff provide care for patients with a variety of orthopedic,neurologic, cardiovascular and medical diagnoses. The departmentconsists of over 108 therapists to provide rehab services includingphysical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Additionally,we offer pediatric rehab and cancer rehab as clinic specific specialtyservices. Hours: Clinics are open 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday,and 7 am to 5:30 pm on Fridays. The role is pool/prn and could requireworking at any of our 13 clinic locations. The clinical work is with theadult population seeing outpatient orthopedic or neurologicalconditions. This role does not require weekends or holiday work but mayrequire working until 7 pm as needed. What You Will Do: Evaluatesindividuals referred for occupational therapy services.Establishes anoccupational therapy prognosis, and plan of treatment.Implements OTtreatment for patients based on evaluation results and plan ofcare.Re-assesses the ongoing effects of treatment.Collaborates with andprovides consultation to others in care delivery.Supervises occupationaltherapy assistants and aides. What You Will Need: Bachelors ofOccupational Therapy. Current BLS certification through AHA(or abilityto obtain at time of hire). Occupational Therapist licensure requiredthrough State of WI (OTR).
