Pediatric Speech Therapist in White Rock, NM

An opportunity exists for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) to provide essential services in an early childhood setting. This role is focused on supporting young learners with their communication needs, ensuring that each child receives the guidance and resources necessary for their development.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Mexico state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (NMRLD)
• NMPED certification or in pending status by the start date
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and speech/language disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for pre-K students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication strategies
• Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and student outcomes
