Organization Information Floyd County Schools serves over 6300 students dailyattending 16 different schools. We have 4 highs schools, 3 middle schools, 3primary through grade 8 schools, 5 primary through grade 5 schools, and a districtalternative program. According to the 2010 - 2011 NCLB report, 11 of15 schools met 100 percent of their NCLB target goals for 2011. A structured courseof study exists from Head Start through Advanced Placement.
