• Must have successfully completed a practicum in speech and language program. Applicants who have demonstrated knowledge and experience with programs designed to improve educational opportunities for minority pupils will be given preference. Education: Must hold a baccalaureate degree with a major or specialized training in speech and language; a masters degree in speech pathology or a closely related field is highly desirable. Must hold a California credential authorizing service as a Remedial Speech Specialist, i.e., the Exceptional Child-Speech Hearing Credential, Standard Credential with specialization in the Speech and Hearing Service, Restricted Speech Hearing Credential, or Clinical Services Rehabilitation Credential. Possession of a valid California driver's license. Possession of a Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board License
