Position Highlights: Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, guaranteed hours for the school year
Caseload: Assignments tailored to your strengths and preferences, serving diverse age groups
Pay Range: $40.00-$60.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized therapy services to students, enhancing their educational access
Develop and execute treatment plans aligned with each student's goals and needs
Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create and implement IEPs
Conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and recommend interventions
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
Participate in team meetings and trainings as a valued member of the school community
Qualifications for School-Based OTs: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements: Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Licensure: Valid California Occupational Therapist license
Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
Experience: School-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
Clearances: Must pass California state and school district background checks
Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to school environments
