This role is a fantastic opportunity to support students in achieving their developmental and functional goals within an educational setting. Job Responsibilities: Assist the Occupational Therapist (OT) in implementing therapy plans.
Work with students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
Document student progress and report findings to the OT.
Adapt and modify activities to meet students' individual needs.
Requirements: Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program .
Active South Dakota COTA license .
Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
