Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled School Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services to students within local educational settings. As an OT, you will play a vital role in promoting students' independence and enhancing their participation in academic and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory integration, and self-care tasks. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the educational curriculum. Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to support students' needs. Qualifications:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure or eligibility for licensure. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
