This full-time position will begin at the start of the school year and continue for at least three months, from September through November. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary school students.
Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input regarding student needs and progress.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Previous experience working with elementary school students is highly desirable.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
