We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to join our team near Southport, IN. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students in K-12 educational settings, focusing on enhancing their functional independence and academic participation. Whether you prefer a full-time or part-time schedule, we can offer flexible options to meet your needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions to support students' academic and functional skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create effective therapy plans that address sensory, motor, and cognitive needs.
Conduct assessments to identify student needs and measure progress.
Provide direct therapy services and document all sessions and progress accurately.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations.
Qualifications: OT: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and Indiana OT license.
COTA: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and Indiana COTA license.
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
