This role will focus on helping students overcome speech and language challenges, working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to our young learners. Position Details: Assignment Period: Full school year
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time
Caseload/Population: Elementary-aged students
Location: Near Harrisburg, OR (surrounding areas)
Key Responsibilities: Assist in providing speech and language therapy to elementary students
Implement therapy strategies created by the supervising SLP
Deliver individual or small group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders
Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate therapy into the students' daily routines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and follow individualized plans set for each student
Qualifications: Oregon SLPA license required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred, but not required
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passion for helping children succeed in their academic and personal growth
