Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Near Murrieta, California Job Type: Full-Time Assignment Period: Full School Year Caseload: K-6 Start Date: ASAP Job Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a full-time, school-based role near Murrieta, CA . This position involves working with K-6 students to help them develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language difficulties. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside educators and parents to help students achieve success in their academic and personal development. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations to identify students' speech and language challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, with a focus on speech, language, fluency, and social communication.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate speech therapy strategies into the school environment.
Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and updates on students' progress toward their speech and language goals.
Maintain thorough records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
California SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
Experience working with K-6 students is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of school-based therapy processes and IEPs.
Ability to manage a full caseload of students while providing effective support.
