Soliant has partnered with an education community in Moreno Valley, CA and is seeking a full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the next school year.
Requirements:
Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
Candidates must have a California SLP license and a Clinical and Rehabilitative Services credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
Prior schools experience strongly preferred
Pay and Benefits: Hourly W2 pay of $58 to $105/hr, dependent on experience
Health, vision and dental insurance
Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
Employer-matched 401(k)
Details of the position:
40 hours per week (when school is in session)
184-day calendar
Candidates will cover 1-2 sites; reasonable consideration will be given to candidates who prefer certain age groups are types of classrooms
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
Update progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs

Ability to collaborate with co-workers and student families
Problem-solving skills
