Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Description:
Location: Respiratory Therapy Department at the Hospital
Schedule: Full-Time Nights
Signing Bonus: Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus
Position: Open until July 30, 2025 or until filled
Responsibilities:
Perform quality respiratory care, cardiopulmonary, and neuro-diagnostics.
Provide respiratory therapy treatments: oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB,
chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, sputum induction.
Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostics: ECGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan,
dypridimal, dobutamine, stress echocardiogram, tilt test, holter scanning, PFT, ABG
sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and
nocturnal oximetry.
Document patient records per departmental standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree preferred).
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Current BLS certification.
ACLS required within 6 months of employment.
Current, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
CRT required, RRT within 2 years, NRP preferred.
Compensation:
Pay range: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments,
recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
