City , State: L ocations all around Texas Full-Time - 6 month contract Shift Times: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Facility Physical Environment: A state-operated facilities that provide comprehensive care and treatment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The facility operates in compliance with ICF-ID, CMS Standards, and HHSC Regulations . Essential Duties: Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (IDT) and attending physicians to develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct periodic re-evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Monitor facility Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with accrediting agencies and regulatory requirements . Qualifications & Certification Requirements: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current and unrestricted Texas SLP License (TDLR) 2+ Years of Experience in Speech Pathology Current CPR/BCLS Certification (American Heart Association - BLS) Compliant with HIPAA regulations and strict client confidentiality Willingness to work with dual-diagnosis patients Must comply with HHSC immunization, drug testing, fingerprinting, and background check requirements Completion of facility and HHSC-mandated training About the Company: The Columbus Organization is a team committed to your professional success .
