Position Overview and Weekly Commitment This full-time virtual role requires 40 hours per week providing speech therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. You'll manage a comprehensive caseload of 50-60 students with mixed communication disorders, conducting both individual and group therapy sessions through our interactive online platform. The position emphasizes thorough assessment, targeted intervention, and measurable student progress.
Caseload Diversity and Student Needs Your caseload will encompass students with articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, pragmatic communication challenges, and fluency disorders. You'll serve students who are primarily motivated learners who respond well to technology-enhanced therapy approaches, while also working with students requiring more intensive intervention strategies. The varied student population provides opportunities for diverse therapeutic approaches and professional development.
Core Clinical Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive virtual speech-language evaluations using telepractice protocols
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific IEP objectives
  • Provide direct virtual therapy services using interactive digital tools and resources
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress monitoring records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Offer consultation services to teachers and educational support staff
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and professional practice standards
Professional Requirements and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited institution
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active Ohio speech-language pathology licensure
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric/school clinical experience
  • Telepractice experience highly desirable
  • Knowledge of special education processes and disability categories
  • Experience with diverse socioeconomic and cultural student populations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
