Under the direction of the Market Director of Rehabilitation Services Provides, the Occupational Therapist screens, evaluates, and provides therapeutic intervention for individuals identified with disabilities that interfere with their ability to perform daily life activities. Must possess professional judgment and clinical knowledge to develop individualized programs and work collaboratively with all members of the Rehabilitation Services Team. Exercises independent judgment and decision making within the limitations and scope of practice. Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions. Maintains positive working relationships with staff, other departments, physicians and peers. Displays conduct in support of CHI St. Lukes Health Memorial Mission & Vision.
Position Responsibilities:
Education Required
Bachelor's degree - Occupational Therapy Preferred: Advanced degree (Masters degree, or Doctorate degree) in Occupational Therapy or related field.
Licensure/Certification Required
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas issued by Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners OT (ECPTOTE)
BLS certification (through an approved AHA program)
*If initial licensure has OTR designation: Registered OT through National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Preferred: Member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Texas Occupational Therapy Association (TOTA)
Registered OT through National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Experience Required

Preferred: 2-3 years of professional experience as an OT
