Physical Therapist - Part Time - Float
O'Fallon, IL
Salary Range: $36 - $48 per hour, based on years of experience.
This part-time PT float position will be based out of the O'Fallon, IL Day Institute and cover 6 Day Institute locations - Florissant, O'Fallon IL, Kirkwood, Olive Crossing, Arnold and Bridgeton. This will ideally be a 3 day/24 hour work week and will require dual licensing for MO and IL in order to cover the clinics.
SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a Physical Therapist to work in our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. We have ten centers across the St. Louis Metro area serving individuals recovering from a traumatic injury or illness who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. Responsibilities- Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patients need and physician direction
- Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients
- Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities
- Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self
- Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Therapist required.
- CPR certification
