Job Type: Full-Time, 13-Week Contract (with potential extension)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in a Home Health setting in Dover, DE . You will provide patient-centered care in their homes, creating and implementing therapy plans to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients daily living and functional skills

• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed

• Document care and communicate regularly with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Travel to patient homes within a local service area (mileage reimbursed)

• Comply with home health agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Current, active OT license in the state of Delaware

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Previous Home Health experience preferred

• OASIS experience preferred

• Proficiency with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) EMR preferred

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
