Urgently Hiring! School Speech Language Pathology Assistant Opening near Red Cross, NC!

Sunbelt is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join faculty at a school district near Red Cross, North Carolina, for the fast-approaching school year (2024-2025)! The SLPA will assist Speech Language Pathologists and work with children to diagnose and treat communication disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the nature and severity of speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals.
• Provide therapy to students to improve their communication skills, including: language, articulation, fluency, and voice.
• Full-time, onsite position. Part-time openings also available.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, required.
• Active North Carolina SLPA license, or ability to acquire license prior to start date, required.
• Previous pediatric experience preferred.
