Occupational Therapist (OT) Home Health

Location: Pollocksville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time, 13-Week Contract (with potential extension)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in a Home Health setting in Pollocksville, NC . This role involves delivering in-home therapy services to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and regain independence. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and passionate about patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to enhance daily living and functional abilities

• Track and document patient progress, updating care plans as needed

• Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

• Travel to patient homes within the local service area (mileage reimbursed)

• Ensure documentation is accurate and timely in accordance with agency and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Active OT license in the state of North Carolina

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Previous Home Health experience preferred

• OASIS experience preferred

• Familiarity with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) EMR preferred

• Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
