We have a Part-time (4 days, 28 hours/week) or Full Time (4 days at school site, 1 day at clinic, 36 hours/week) opportunity to provide OT services at a non-public school in San Dimas, CA for the 2025-2026 school year and/or at our clinic in Claremont, CA.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in occupational therapy within a school and/or clinic setting, supporting students/patients in achieving their full potential.

Salary:
Hourly Rate: $29 to $37 /hour, based on years of pediatric experience

Role and Responsibilities:
As a School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , you will play a vital role in supporting students' occupational therapy needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct and collaborative occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Monitoring students' progress and and communicate updates to the OT, teachers, and parents
- Collaborating with the OTR on adjusting individualized treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Providing consultation and training to teachers and staff on strategies to support students' sensory and motor needs within the classroom environment.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required records.

Qualifications :
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.
- Valid California license or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Previous experience working as a COTA in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of sensory processing, motor skills development, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and report writing.
