This role is set within a dynamic K-12 environment in Modesto, CA, where you will provide essential support to students with diverse communication needs. Location: Modesto, CA Responsibilities: Deliver direct and indirect speech and language services as outlined in student IEPs. Collaborate effectively with educational staff, students, and parents, particularly in high-stress situations. Maintain active SLPA certification and stay updated on best practices in the field. Travel between school sites as required, ensuring that services are accessible to all students. Document and track student progress, adapting strategies to meet individual needs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications or an AAS degree from an SLPA program. Active SLPA certification with a strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation. Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, to engage effectively with various stakeholders. Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
