CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Schedule: Part time Day shift (8 hours a day, 24 hrs. a week)
Location Coverage: will drive and service around Burbank, Glendale, Griffith Park, Sunland, Studio City
Pay Structure: Pay Per Visit

Job Description:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (C.O.T.A.) shall be responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice and in providing occupational therapy services under the direction of a Registered Occupational Therapist and in accordance with AOTA and state practice acts. The COTA provides patient care to the following age groups: adult and geriatric adult.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: A graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• upon hire: California Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
• within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years Experience.
• Acute hospital experience.
