Our team of experts offer 24/7 emergency room services, ICU care, labor and delivery, cardiology care, surgical services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, imaging and more. The state-of-the-art hospital is connected to a medical office building with a full suite of medical services including internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endocrinology and more. The role youll contribute:
The Respiratory Therapist provides direct respiratory care to patients in all areas of the hospital as outlined in Pulmonary Services procedure manual. Is knowledgeable in providing and evaluating the routine as well as critical care modes of respiratory care. Responsible for the effective and optimal administration of modalities based upon assessment and evaluation. Provides recommendations and/or changes to care based on patients current status.

- Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational action.
- Respond to emergency situations immediately, perform appropriate patient assessment and intervention and replace emergency supplies in a timely manner,
- Demonstrate understanding of Code Blue and Rapid Response procedures.
- Assure code blue intubation and blade boxes are checked daily and after use
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
Required qualifications :
- Associates Degree
- Up to 1 Year of Experience
- Kansas Respiratory Therapist License
- BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
- NRP within 12 months of hire date
- CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist)
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 1 Years of Position-Related Experience
- 1 Years of NICU experience
- NRP certification
- 2 years clinical experience for new grads acceptable in lieu of 1 year of work experience
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
