This role involves working closely with students to identify and address speech and language challenges that may impact their learning and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a school setting and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential through effective communication strategies. Key Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
Provide speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication development.
Regularly monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-specific educational strategies.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
Experience in providing speech-language services in a school environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
