Overview Evaluates and treats patients of all ages who suffered loss of upper extremity function, balance, coordination, perception, endurance, or present with decrease ability to perform ADLs due to trauma, surgery, or illnesses. This position creates a treatment plan based on the assessment findings and works with patients and family members to achieve the highest possible level of independence. Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions) Designs and executes treatment plan based on assessment findings. Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely. Educates patients and family members. Evaluates patients' upper extremity function and ADLs performance. Participates in multi- disciplinary meetings and case reviews. Supervises COTA as needed. Supervises OT and COTA students as needed. Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS(Minimum Requirements)

- Knowledgable in the principles of growth and development over life span.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility in order to meet unanticipated demands and priorities.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in Occupational Therapy.
- Possess skills to work with patients of all ages from infant to geriatric.
- Ability to perform work safely at all times adhering to the safety policies and procedures as well as the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Ability to perform all duties in a courteous and kind manner placing the patients and families needs first.
- Ability to assist other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to conduct business in a respectful manner at all time.
- Bachelors Occupational Therapy Required
- Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
- Licensed Occupational Therapist
