Recreational Therapist, PRN

Recreational Therapist - PRN, Days *Schedule is: available some weekdays and weekends, full shift about 7 hours RESPONSIBLE FOR: Performs safe, effective therapeutic patient care. Demonstrates expertise in patient assessment treatment planning, treatment implementation, & documentation. Knowledgeable in the organization & demonstration of Recreation Therapy programs that focus on self-awareness, self-expression, social, cultural, & recreation development. Performs as part of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or related field required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification CPI certification within the first 90 days of employment required ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred Recreation Therapy experience preferred, experience in related fields considered. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) preferred, or Certification as Art Therapist. #GD #LI-POST
