General Definition of Work
Performs works responsible for effectively developing and implementing events, leagues and programs for in addition to oversight of facility operations as assigned.
Essential Functions
Responsible for supervision of the operations of the A.C. Brase Arena including scheduling, overseeing maintenance operations, recreation operations and development and implementation of facility policies.
Responsible for the planning and implementation of leagues, programs and events along with the safe operation of the facility which includes cleanliness, set up and take down of equipment and concessions for rentals and programs.
Hire, trains, schedules and supervises personnel. Ensures personnel have proper training and follow organization safety protocols.
Assists in the coordination of facility rentals, tours, contract development and scheduling. Ensures quality customer service for facility rental groups and program participant.
Assists in the development of operational budgets and effectively tracks expenditures and revenue to meet organizational goals.
Promotes programs and events through city website, social media, flyers and informational brochures and community outreach.
Effectively and proactively communicates with facility rental groups ensuring all rental requirements are met and event plans are finalized and communicated to necessary personnel.
Provides physical assistance as needed for set up and clean-up of events and regular facility maintenance.
Responds as needed to after-hours calls. Works weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for management of programs and events.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a Bachelors degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid drivers license.
Experience sufficient to understand the work of subordinate positions to be able to answer questions and resolve problems.
Salary per year $43,489, plus a generous benefit package.
- Bi-weekly pay periods.

- 96 hours of sick leave – accrued throughout the year.
- 2 days of personal leave per fiscal year. Must be employed at the beginning of the fiscal year to receive.
