The audiologist will be responsible for working with referral agents and coordinating the scheduling of appointments with testing assistants, test sites, and families. The audiologist will provide infant diagnosis using the state established protocol including but not limited to hearing history, otoscopic inspection, tympanometry, acoustic reflexes, otoacoustic emissions, ABR protocol (with ANSD check), bone conduction, tone burst and/or ASSR testing. After each test, a comprehensive report will be written and disseminated. The audiologist will also provide consultation to NMSD's Outreach and Early Intervention departments to support statewide D/HH children.
