Occupational Therapist - K-12 Contract

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in K-12 education settings. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and eligibility for occupational therapy services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and teletherapy formats.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for all students.
• Document progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Stay informed about best practices and recent developments in occupational therapy and educational strategies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and ESA certification in hand.
• Proven experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly in school settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Location:

• Puyallup, WA (K-12 school settings, with specific sites to be determined).
