Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' abilities, needs, and goals
• Designing and implementing engaging and purposeful activities to improve clients' functional skills
• Infusing therapy sessions with creativity and joy, incorporating games, crafts, music, and other exciting elements
• Assisting clients in developing and practicing daily living skills, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive strategies
• Collaborating with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitoring and documenting clients' progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
• Educating clients and their families on techniques for enhancing independence and participation in daily activities

Requirements:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• A playful and lively personality that sparks joy in others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build connections with clients and their families
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and treatment techniques
