Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students in an engaging elementary school environment. This contract position runs from August 13, 2025, to May 22, 2026, and is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the educational outcomes for children through targeted speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and support personnel
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Preferred experience in supervising or collaborating with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location:
- Huntsville, TX
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech services
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
- Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in delivering therapy
- Participate in ARD meetings and provide insights on student progress and needs
