SENIOR PARK AND RECREATION SPECIALIST/BAY AREA DISTRICT/SAN FRANCISCO BAY SECTOR/BAY AREA DISTRICT OFFICE

The reporting location for this position is Angel Island State Park. This position will work under the supervision of the Deputy District Superintendent.

The Senior Park and Recreation Specialist is the Sector Manager for the San Francisco Bay Sector which includes Angel Island State Park and Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. This position is responsible for the day-to-day visitor services, public safety and law enforcement, maintenance, interpretation, real property management, and resource management functions for the Sector. The incumbent provides leadership, supervision, training, and employee development, and maintains cooperative professional relationships within the community in order to further the Mission of California State Parks. This position provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone with great leadership skills to work in and manage a unique and complex Sector of the Bay Area District State Parks.

State Housing may be required.
